Michael Nguyen

A Southern Californian native, Michael Nguyen is the driving force behind Mikell Coiffure.  He was always creative growing up and was constantly inspired by fashion, architecture, interior design, hair, and makeup.  A professional in the truest sense, Michael creates hairstyles that are buildable and playful. With over a decade of experience, he really enjoys enhancing hair color with a natural approach.

His clients leave his chair with chic styles, timeless haircuts, and stunning colors where warm and cool tones harmonize. What’s made a place in Michael’s chair so covetable for the past decade, however, is not just his skill in creating astonishing, multi-dimensional color, but the personal connection he develops with everyone who makes it to his chair. His talent and personality have created his sought-after reputation and kept his clients coming back time and time again from Orange County, Los Angeles, and Southbay.

Jenny Gallardo

Jenny is from San Fernando Valley, CA, and has what it takes to score a look for each and every guest.  With a few years working beside our dear friend Color Specialists Rich Ohnmacht at Meche Salon as well as Colorist Yvonne Brown and Celebrity Master Colorist  Tracey Cunningham, Jenny has quite the repertoire.

She specializes in all things related to hair color including the art of balayage and blonding. With just a little short under 10 years of experience, what sets her differently is her passion for soft blondes and dimensional color.  Our sweet Jenny loves to be surrounded by artists, be in a creative space, and even collects some artwork herself, especially in Hispanic art, such as Frida Kahlo, Deigo Rivera, and Salvador Dali to name a few.

Stefanie Chickey

For bright, natural, and beachy Californian blondes that grow out seamlessly, look no further.  Stefanie Chickey’s attention to detail with perfectly placed highlights, leaves every client walking out of the salon with refined healthy hair.

Shawnie Carolla

At the age of 4 Shawnie was caught not once, not twice, but three times hiding under her desk cutting her very own hair.  I think it’s safe to say that she had always known what it was that she wanted to do. Let's continue to support and watch our Shawnie grow into a successful stylist!

Mayra Sanchez

Fun Fact!  Mayra was sitting in a chair getting her hair done a few years ago when she was suddenly inspired from being in a salon environment. She thought about how happy she felt when she got her hair done, and she wanted to do just that for others. Ladies and gents, be prepared to feel pampered by our very own, Mayra!
